I just wanted to share a quick message that I recently sent out to my sphere of influence about the Mortgage Bankers Association’s recent claim that 11 million homeowners should be refinancing. Feel free to take it for yourself and send it to your database. Here’s the message:
“Are you one of the 11 million homeowners who should be refinancing your mortgage? There are still 11 million of you that the Mortgage Bankers Association has advised to refinance to get a lower interest rate. A third of the people who have already refinanced regretted not doing it sooner.
The two biggest benefits of refinancing are lowering your payment and refinancing the term of your mortgage. You might be able to pay it off in half the time by refinancing.
